Beginning the project as a commission for Sir Cupcake’s Queer Circus Goes to Another Dimension in May of 2019, Alexandrite was challenged to create uplifting experiences for two separate aerial performances. Twin shimmering Goddexxes twirling within a magical band and an empathetic epiphany.
Crystallizing their own story one year later, Alexandrite’s progressive electronica music guides the listener from an encounter, to dark reflections, and back into a realm of compassion, control and understanding.
